What is the Validity of Aircraft Mechanic's CAAP License?
Ilang taon valid ang CAAP License ng Aircraft Mechanics? Our CAAP License has a validity of five (5) years from the date of issuance. This means that once you receive your license, it remains valid for five years regardless of whether you are actively working in aviation or not. Many license holders are misinformed that their license can be “held” or “safekept” by CAAP—this is not true. There is no such thing as license safekeeping; your CAAP license should always be in your possession. It is essential to note that the expiration date continues to advance, regardless of whether you are employed in aviation or not. To renew your CAAP Aircraft Mechanic License, you are required to present a Certificate of Employment (COE) as an Aircraft Mechanic, serving as proof that your license has been exercised and used.
